Concentrated Solar Power (CSP)

Een CSP waterpomp bestaat uit een CSP schotel gekoppeld aan een waterpomp. De CSP schotel heeft een spiegelend oppervlak van ca. 1,5 m2. In het brandpunt van de schotel staat een tank met 10 liter water. Dit water wordt door de zon omgezet in stoom van 1,5 bar. Met deze stoom wordt de standaard ja-knik waterpomp aangedreven waarmee, afhankelijk van de diepte, 2 - 6 m3 water per dag opgepompt kan worden.

A solar water pump consists of a CSP dish and a water pump. The CSP dish has a mirror surface of 1.5 m2. The focal point of the dish is a 10 liter tank with water. This water is converted into steam of 1.5 bar by the sun. This steam is used for a standard water pump which, depending on the depth, can pump 2 to 6 m3 of water per day.
